Establish and provide resource groups for Mental Health and the LGBTQ+ community so that members can feel safe and supported at work
Tasks.
Annual session planning to provide engaging, relevant content to Optimizely employees
Organized celebrations for Pride and raised awareness on issues of mental health and wellness
Sought out and brought in expert speakers, allowing third party knowledge to enrich the environment
Coordinated with HR to ensure that all employees were represented fairly and appropriately
Results.
Celebrated three years of successful ERG establishments, with both ERGs having events almost every single month during that time. Rewarded with the gratitude of many employees who felt better about their work for the ERGs
